Common Application

The Common Application was created by a consortium of about 275 schools as a convenience for students. The members of the consortium are typically selective liberal art schools. Students who use the common application complete it once and can submit that application at any member school. For many of the schools the Common Application is the only application required. Other colleges request the Common Application and other supplemental materials. Member schools do not make a distinction between the Common Application and their own application. The application is available as a paper copy or online. To download the application or complete it online go to their web site. http://www.commonapp.org
