The Lower School classes recognized Earth Day with a variety of activities. Kindergarten classes made quilts, posters, crowns and necklaces out of scraps and recycled paper. Second graders wove habitats out of paper in art class and made tiny clay animals to decorate them. One second grade class wrote letters to Mother Earth, and everyone enjoyed recess on a glorious spring day.
