GSB students in Matheny run
On Sunday, April 20, a nice showing by the GSB community helped to make Miles for Matheny a success. Miles for Matheny is an annual event in Peapack-Gladstone. The day features biking, road racing and distance walks. A highlight of the day is a wheelchair walk by Matheny students. Thousands of people are in attendance through the day for this important fund-raiser for the Matheny School.
The GSB Upper School had a number of racers in the 5K race. Brian Moscioni was the group's top finisher. Ariel Quintana and Maggie Bedrosian were not far behind. Other Upper School students who participated were Victoria Bernardo, Katti Galli and Lauren Giangrasso. Faculty members John Taeschler and Mike Chimes also ran the 5K.
Alex Mead and our Israeli exchange student, Omer Dachoch, were also in attendance to participate in the Matheny walk. Many parents were there to cheer on the student participants as well.
